Our Constitution

Governance matters to us. We take great pride in being an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that is properly governed, is accountable to its stakeholders and meets all its legal obligations and compliance requirements.

Our constitution is our governing instrument, deriving its legitimacy from the Corporations Act and the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission Act. It defines our purpose and objectives and establishes the rules for how we are run. Its authority comes from our members, who vote to adopt and amend it. You can view/download a copy here.

A Public Company Limited by Guarantee

We are a Public Company incorporated under the Corporations Act administered by ASIC, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. We have an authority to fundraise under section 13A of the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 (NSW). Our Charitable fundraising number is CFN/20589.
