Djhan – ‘I learned how to stand back up with pride’

by

I came to Namatjira Haven in 2018 as a spiritually broken man. I had lost a lot of my life morals and values to substance abuse and found myself totally disconnected from my culture and my own identity.

Today I am grateful for Nama and its program and staff. With the help of Nama I was able to see myself and learn how to stand back up with pride. I am grateful for the knowledge the groups at Nama has given me, especially the groups that focused on CBT.

Nama is a healing place. I would urge Brothers to come here if they are having troubles with the grog or drugs.”
